Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
The Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system on Touring models allows you to set a desired speed, and also gives you the option of maintaining a timed distance from a vehicle directly in front of you. It allows the convenience of cruise control to be used even when there is light traffic around you.
ACC cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed, and other factors. ACC should not to be used in heavy traffic, poor weather, or on winding roads. The driver remains responsible to slow or stop the vehicle to avoid a collision.
