Forward Collision Warning

As your vehicle approaches a vehicle detected ahead of it, the Forward Collision Warning (FCW) system monitors the speed of your vehicle and the closing distance of the vehicle ahead. If the brake is not applied or other avoidance actions taken and a collision appears likely, the system alerts the driver through visual and audible warnings. FCW cannot detect all objects ahead and may not detect a given object; accuracy will vary based on weather, speed, and other factors. System operation may be affected by extreme interior heat. FCW does not include a braking function, so the driver remains responsible for safely operating the vehicle and avoiding collisions. Watch the video to find out more about how the system works.
